"This deed of conveyance made and executed this 8th day of January, 1870, by and between Johnson Bloomer and Pauline Bloomer his wife of the first part and Granderson Renner of the other part, all of Rockcastle County, KY.

"Witnesseth: That the said Bloomer and wife, in consideration of one thousand dollars in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath this day sold and hereby conveyed to the said Renner the following described boundary of land lying and being...on the waters of Skeggs Creek and known as the Elisha Bullock tract and bounded as follows, to wit:

"Beginning at the 5th corner of James Kurvies line...to a buckeye corner to Benjamin Bethuram's survey...containing one hundred and fifty acres..."

Deed Book K, p.637

This is the land upon which Alva Renner lived at the time of Granderson's death in 1876 (see Granderson's will).

There is a discrepancy concerning Johnson Bloomer between this deed and the will. His will says J.J. Bloomer, but Johnson C. Bloomer was the one married to Paulina Baker.
