W.N. Cromer to Arnold Cromer, 4 May 1936

"This deed between W.N. Cromer (Widower) of the first part, and Arnold Cromer of the second part. Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part, in consideration of care and suport of grantor, during his life, and the building of a three room house on lands hereinafter described in this deed, to be occupied by grantor as long as he may live, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby sell, grant and convey to the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, the following desribed property, viz: Located in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, and on the waters of Skeggs Creek and thus described:

"Bounded on the north by the lands of Will Kirby; on the east by the lands of Henry Cromer; on the south by the lands of H.M. Cromer and wife; on the west by the lands of G.C. Cromer, and containing 60 acres more or less.

"To have and to hold the same, will all the appurtenance thereon, to the second party, his heirs and assigns forever…First party obtained title from Bradley heirs, and said deed was destroyed by fire, and was not recorded…"
