John C. and Elizabeth Cromer to Granderson Renner, 14 Sep 1872

Granderson purchased land from "John C. Cromer and Elizabeth Cromer his wife of the county Sullivan, state of Missouri" on "Buck Lick and Sugartree Hollow branch waters of the west fork of Skeggs Creek and bounded by the old John Renner tract of land the lands of said Granderson Renner and being the same land bought by the said John C. Cromer of John Chestnut and known as the Drury Harper tract containing 100 acres more or less."

This land was originally granted to Thomas Brown in 1846, who then transferred the rights to Henry B. Linville later that year. Drewry Harper lived on the property in 1848 and 1849, Linville paid taxes on it in 1851.
